SPIRIT OF CURIOSITY

How do you visually represent math without using numbers and symbols? It turns out it can be quite tricky. In this chessboard created to honor the late NASA mathematician Katherine Johnson, I had to think outside the box in order to create a visual identity which not only represented Katherine’s career, but also her personal love for math and learning.
